Retention criteria

Retention criteria include the time needed to provide an active account or requested feature, the sensitivity and volume of the data, safety and fraud needs, legal recordkeeping, dispute limitation periods, a valid preservation request, and the time required for secure deletion from backups. Training copies follow the additional eligibility, opt-out, and separability rules in the AI Data Use Notice rather than an unlimited retention period.

Block records: when you block a creator from one of their characters, we store your account identifier, the creator's account identifier, the character's name at the time and when you blocked. We use this to hide that creator's characters from you and to show your block list. The creator is not told, and the record is deleted when you unblock or when either account is deleted.

Character photos (photos that show a face): when you make a character, we collect the photos you choose from your photo library (one required main photo and up to four optional supporting photos). Each photo goes through an automated safety check on our server. The check estimates whether the person in the photo looks like an adult; whether the photo shows prohibited content, a public figure or copyrighted media; and whether the photo is usable. It also classifies the visible gender presentation, used only to pick a voice automatically. It finds the face area too, but only to crop the photo to a portrait, and the face area is not stored. We do not create biometric identifiers such as Face ID data, face geometry or face templates, and we do not use photos or check results for identification, advertising or AI model training. The main photo becomes the character's appearance and is used to produce its call video clips. Supporting photos are checked and kept as well, but the current clips are made from the main photo only. Check results are used only to allow or block character creation and to assign a voice. Every uploaded photo, including photos the check rejects, is sent to Anthropic for the safety check, and the main photo is sent to RunPod to produce the clips; each provider's retention is shown in the service-provider table. If the creator makes a share link, anyone with the link can see the main photo on the web without signing in, and users who save the character can see its clips during calls; the clips are downloaded to those users' devices. The creator can turn a share link off at any time. Photos that pass the check (as uploaded or cropped to a portrait based on the detected face area), clips and check results are stored in the Republic of Korea (Seoul region) and kept while your account exists, including photos you never made into a character. When you delete your account in the app, we delete the photos, clips and check results from our storage, and they are not part of the "remaining records of deleted accounts" in the Supabase row of the service-provider table. Some copies can remain: (1) copies already sent to Anthropic or RunPod follow each provider's retention in the service-provider table; (2) clips already downloaded to other users' devices cannot be deleted by us remotely and may stay on those devices until the app's cache is cleared or the app is removed; (3) photos and clips are not included in database backups, but database records such as check results remain in our database provider's (Supabase) backups for up to 7 days before they are removed.

개인정보는 계정과 기능 제공, 거래 정산, 안전 사건 조사, 분쟁 대응 및 법적 보존의 목적을 달성하는 데 필요한 기간만 보유합니다. 목적이 끝나고 보존 근거가 없으면 안전한 방식으로 삭제하거나 익명화하며, 백업은 제한된 주기에 따라 격리 삭제합니다. AI 학습용 가명정보에는 별도의 짧고 검토 가능한 보유 기준을 적용합니다.

차단 기록: 이용자가 다른 이용자의 캐릭터에서 '이 제작자 차단'을 하면, 차단한 이용자와 차단된 제작자의 계정 식별자, 차단할 때의 캐릭터 이름, 차단 시각을 저장합니다. 차단한 이용자에게 그 제작자의 캐릭터를 보이지 않게 하고 차단 목록을 보여 주기 위해서입니다. 차단 사실은 제작자에게 알리지 않으며, 이용자가 차단을 해제하거나 어느 한쪽이 계정을 삭제하면 지웁니다.

캐릭터 사진(얼굴이 담긴 사진): 캐릭터를 만들 때 이용자가 사진 보관함에서 직접 고른 사진을 수집합니다(대표 사진 1장 필수, 보강 사진 최대 4장). 사진마다 서버에서 자동 안전 검사를 합니다. 검사는 사진 속 인물이 성인으로 보이는지, 금지된 콘텐츠·실존 유명인·저작물인지, 사용할 수 있는 사진인지를 판정하고, 목소리를 자동으로 고르는 데만 쓰는 겉보기 성별 표현을 분류합니다. 얼굴 영역도 찾지만 사진을 세로 초상으로 자르는 데만 쓰고 저장하지 않습니다. Face ID 정보·얼굴 기하·얼굴 템플릿 같은 생체 식별 정보는 만들지 않으며, 사진과 검사 결과를 신원 확인·광고·AI 모델 학습에 쓰지 않습니다. 대표 사진은 캐릭터의 모습이 되어 통화용 영상 클립을 만드는 데 쓰입니다. 보강 사진도 검사를 거쳐 보관하지만, 현재 클립은 대표 사진만으로 만듭니다. 검사 결과는 캐릭터 제작 허용·차단과 목소리 배정에만 씁니다. 검사를 위해 업로드한 모든 사진(검사에서 반려된 사진 포함)을 Anthropic에, 클립 제작을 위해 대표 사진을 RunPod에 보내며, 각 업체의 보유기간은 처리위탁 표와 같습니다. 제작자가 공유 링크를 만들면 링크를 아는 사람은 로그인 없이 웹에서 대표 사진을 볼 수 있고, 그 캐릭터를 저장한 이용자는 통화에서 클립을 볼 수 있으며 클립은 그 이용자의 기기에 내려받아집니다. 제작자는 공유 링크를 언제든 끌 수 있습니다. 검사를 통과한 사진(업로드된 원본 또는 얼굴 영역을 기준으로 세로로 자른 사진)과 클립, 검사 결과는 대한민국(서울) 리전에 보관하며, 캐릭터로 만들지 않은 사진을 포함해 계정이 있는 동안 보관합니다. 앱에서 계정을 삭제하면 회사 저장소의 사진·클립·검사 결과를 지우며, 이 정보는 처리위탁 표의 Supabase 항목에 적은 '삭제 계정 잔여 기록'에 포함되지 않습니다. 다만 다음은 남을 수 있습니다. ① Anthropic·RunPod에 이미 보낸 사본은 처리위탁 표에 적은 각 업체의 보유기간에 따릅니다. ② 다른 이용자의 기기에 이미 내려받아진 클립은 회사가 원격으로 지울 수 없으며, 그 기기에서 앱 캐시가 비워지거나 앱이 삭제될 때까지 남을 수 있습니다. ③ 사진과 클립은 데이터베이스 백업에 포함되지 않지만, 검사 결과 같은 데이터베이스 기록은 데이터베이스 공급사(Supabase)의 백업에 최대 7일 동안 남은 뒤 지워집니다.
